Alex is a real expert on the subject of Street Art and I do not use that term lightly and speaks 3 major languages fluently which also helps!
Alex has been operating as a Tour Guide in Hong Kong since 2018. I met Alex in a very fancy Starbucks in Pacific Place, Hong Kong in 2018, I was very intrigued (as it turned out, for the wrong reason!) as back then there where almost no premium quality German speaking private tour guides in Hong Kong - over the years I had done many tours with Germans and I always felt they would have had a better experience with a private guide with totally fluent German, unfortunately my German is as pathetic as my French, I simply do not have a gift for languages with the exception of English!
Honestly I felt a little deflated after our very long chat, I absolutely believed that Alex could really do wonders in promoting private tours of Hong Kong in German and French instead, unfortunately her interest was Street Art and not doing a traditional tour of Hong Kong and that was that, you have to admire passionate people that follow their dream.
As it turned out Alex was absolutely correct in her thinking, her passion was Street Art and she worked tirelessly to promote it in Hong Kong and has turned into the go to expert on Street Art in Hong Kong and I could not be more pleased for Alex.
Alex is a qualified tour guide so she .weaves her knowledge of Hong Kong seamlessly into her Street Art tours.
Most people that know me also know I am not a fan of themed tours or niche tours but in this case it has worked out brilliantly for Alex, an expert is an expert and boy does Alex know about the Street Art scene in Hong Kong.
